Otaniemi Chapel choir is a mixed choir for young adults. Rehearsals are every Thursday in Otaniemi chapel from 5.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. including an evening snack.
The choir sings spiritual music from all over the world and performs a couple of times a year in the chapel and elsewhere.
Fluent Finnish is not expected, you can join the choir even if you speak only English. This is a good way to get to know the finnish music tradition!
If you are interested to sing in the choir, please contact:

“Kappelikuoro was a wonderful experience for me. It gave me the opportunity to sing in Finnish even before taking the first Finnish language course, to learn and enjoy together various forms of spiritual music, and to spend time with people who share the love for music and who welcomed me to Finland and Finnish culture. Choir rehearsals made me relax (even more since the chapel is such a beautiful place), and the songs continue to make me happy after moving away from Finland. Kiitos!”
